We’ll go through the whole process, from start to finish, so you can create your wolf drawing easy step by step sketch in simple steps by the end.
Using basic shapes, we’ll sketch out the wolf proportions and add the face, the fur, and the legs.

Begin drawing two medium ovals.
Draw a small oval just above the first oval you drew in Step 1 to form the head.
A. Draw a line starting from the bottom of the head to the front of the first medium oval.
B. Next, draw a curved line between two medium ovals.
C. Draw another curved line starting from the top of the head to the back of the second medium oval.
Draw two small curved lines and connect them in the middle to form a wolf face.
Next, draw two triangle shapes on either side of the head to create the ears.
Draw a small triangle to form the nose.
Draw a tiny curved line just below the nose to create the mouth.
Draw two small ovals for the eyes. Then draw a tiny dot in the middle of each eye.
Start by drawing two vertical lines to form the first leg.
Now, draw three half-circle shapes on the end of those lines to create the paw.
Draw two vertical lines to form the second leg.
Draw three half-circle shapes on the end of those lines to create the second paw.
Draw two vertical lines for the first back leg. This time slightly curved.

Draw one vertical curved line for the second hind leg next to the one you just drew in Step 14.
Draw three half-circle shapes on the end of those lines.
Draw a long curved line at the back of the body to form the tail.
Erase any unwanted pencil marks.

Draw multiple, tiny lines to create the fur of the wolf. Softer lines for the fur of the face, and harder lines for the fur on its back.
Using a criss-cross hatching technique, smudge the pencil marks with your fingers. Then shade the nose. Next, draw a tiny triangle inside each ear.
Draw several small lines to add more texture.
Finally, draw a few horizontal lines to create the ground.
