Follow along with our steps to find out how to create a pear pencil drawing.
The first step is to outline the pear.
Start by drawing a medium oval shape.
Draw a long curved line at the bottom of your oval.
The second step is to draw the middle and the top of your pear.
Draw two curved lines slightly overlapping each other going inwards from both sides of your oval shape. This should create an upside-down light bulb shape.
Now you can erase any unwanted pencil marks.
Next, add two long curved lines on the top of the pear for the stem. Then add a small circle shape at the top of the lines to join them.
Create a stalk by drawing a long thin line connected to the stem.
Then create a raindrop shape for the leaf.
Draw small lines inside your leaf.
Add fairly small lines in between those lines to create the veins.
Draw rough edges around your leaf for a more realistic look.
Shade the stem to give it a more 3-dimensional look.
Then draw a few small lines inside the stem to add texture.
Draw some fine lines on the left side of the main body of your pear.
Draw some more fine lines in the opposite direction.
The final step is adding some shading to the side of the pear to create darker areas for a more realistic look.
To do this, you can use your finger to smudge the criss-cross pattern.
You can also add a few vertical curved lines on the right side of the pear to create a 3-dimensional look.
